After 45 years of being an Ardent, hard Core Rovers fan , spending money on merchandise, following the team home and away with three generations of Gas Heads i'm now stopping until you and your colleagues leave our club. If you don't ....so be it ...at least my sons wont have to endure what so many of us have over the years.


My Thank You is genuine.....no more pre match nerves.... no more Saturday tension ( the buzz left years ago courtesy of the awful team we have had) no more depressed Saturday nights and Sundays. No more expenditure on Gas Player that never worked when it was needed ... No more wasted money on kit, merchandise , Corporate boxes. No wore wasted pride in being a Gas head.


No more having to put up with some of the atrocious behaviour of so called Rovers fans ... exuding their bile at dreadful players in front of youngsters, pitch invasions, fighting with police, verbal abuse on the Rovers coach and the latest punching players ! its mind numbing !! I wont tolerate that , don't want to be labelled with these morons.


I said Our club / my club was dying about eight months ago ... you are the ones administering the poison ... The true soul of Bristol Rovers has died ... on and off the pitch ... you watched it and allowed it to happen ! What is left now is the decaying body ...some amazingly think it will spring back to life ... it never will ! The truth about the stadium will soon come out and Administration will follow ... it will follow!


I can now have a decent weekend , let my bank balance grow . I would like to say Your Loss ... but lets be honest you wont or don't give a damn !!

Course I dont mind. Rovers board is open for all guests of other boards. Always have been. As long as you are constructive and respectful on our non banter threads, you will always be welcomed

I agree with your comment but I would also add, those who still will go and maybe a little more positive about things isnt any less of a true supporter and is hurting just as bad

Yep, pretty much concur. Except for the bit about ...'it never will...' - yes it will eventually. The club has a long history and has only been owned and run by Higgs etc for a short period of that history.

Eventually it will be resurrected but it could be a while yet.
