If they wont even listen to the manager (MM) - we need a striker .... so we sign a(nother) goal keeper!! Or perhaps they are listening too much to MM?? I have read over the last year or so many comments on Twitter from a guy called Gashead Wes who claims to have given the Gas heads up about Matt Tubbs & Charlie Austin, to name just a couple, long before they signed for other clubs. He also claims a football league club have approached him about his talent spotting. Now I'm not saying he is the real deal, after all it's easy to be a keyboard warrior, however if these claims are even partially true then you have to say that they never listened then ... and I doubt if they will listen now! I hope I will be proved wrong and the gas go from strength to strength and supporters can get (if they wan't) involved in the club from the grass roots up ... but I ain't holding my breath!
there was a gashead wes on bbc606. wonder if same person. if its true about recommending these players to the club then to me has has done more than what our current scouting network has done in a number of years.
