Been trying to keep an eye out for him but never hear much, was wondering how he was playing and how you would feel about getting him on a permanent deal come january (seeing as Harry wants shot of his poor attitude).
Thats a shame, I thought he would be happy linking up with Jol. So talented, so ferking lazy. Nice to see Hughes back in the relegation zone!
He's been too much of an individual in the games he has played in, trying to do everything by himself, he has to realise when 2 or 3 players are drawn towards him there will be other players free, and not try and dribble past them and lose the ball, he has to learn when to pass it, but he always seems to be trying to score goal of the season.
His attitude was summed up for me yesterday with the pictures of him, sitting behind Jol and sniggering away with Bent as we went three down.
Jol seems to be indulging him - the guy is off the pace and unfit, hasn't contributed much at all (although he has shown glimmers) and Jol calls him Maradona to the press. Waste of wages- no drive to be the best he can. The worst type of personality possible really - if he had Lampard's drive he could have been special. It's far too late for him now.
