He is very right footed with a strong shot, he takes penalties.... a better version of Craig Gardner or a Lampard/Charlton

Lets hope he plays a little like Suarez, movement, drag players out of position to create space for others, ghost into open space just as the ball is coming to him to score. Most importantly the ability to go past a man to score or create for others.

It will mean we play the ball on the floor (which is now our strength) and have someone who can capitalise on this.

Debut hat-trick or he's dead to me.

We need to win 8-0 to go 11th, so he needs at least 3.

From the look of him a more direct attacking threat. There's only borini and AJ who seem interested in getting into the box. It all relies on our midfield getting forward. We were far too deep yesterday.

A bit of guile in front of goal and hopefully bring other players into play, i'm sure he can. A prolific partnership with Fletcher starting on Saturday would be good as well.

Will he play midfield off Fletcher then or is he out main striker?

If he is our main striker what goal return should we hope for? Is ten being greedy and unrealistic? Only 15 games left. I would say 7 up would be a good return.

New league, new team mates. 7 in 15 would be a good return for me too. Adding to Jonno's 10 and Bards 5 or 6  and maybe the odd 1 or 2 from our other strikers (yeh right) should be enough for mid-table safety!

Wonder what Cest' makes of it all? Lol

We need goals Bri, we need a striker to score. I'm not one of those who boo's after his first wayward shot............but if a second goes astray.................

We don't need goals though mate. We're set up for the goals to come from everywhere. We're the 6th best team in the league in the form table and we haven't had a goal from the front striker in 5 games. Our goal difference is better than most around. Everything is going swimmingly fella. We don't need goals but I want goals. A regular goalscorer would be sweet but the reality is they're aren't many about at the moment. There are only 4 front men who've scored 10 league goals or more this season and they are Suarez, Agüero, Sturridge and Giroud and there's only 3 months of the season left. I want the luxury and of a prolific number 10 as much as anybody but it is a luxury hence why I won't turn on players when they don't instantly produce the goods, especially when they come from overseas.

The best thing to help Scocco be a success will be for the fans to limit their expectations and let him adapt to the league and not get on his back from the terraces.
