am I the only person who goes every week that quite likes him?
Solid makes very few defensive errors and get forwards all game
A bit one footed but I was brought up on Ian gillard
His crosses are ok if not as good as they should be all the time

He's basically ok if not a wee bit frustrating but very consistent
Maybe one bad game all season

    What do you experts think?

Reading some of you I think I'm in a very small minority

Missed the game as had a Christmas party but it does my head in that we play a 34-year-old Leicester reserve when we could play either our 25-year-old defensively fragile but potentially excellent international left-back or Kpekawa who has done absolutely nothing wrong and will never fulfil whatever potential he has when he's not playing.

He's limited but does OK. Every game I've watched has had a commentator saying that the winger will fancy his chances of getting at him but he seems to stick doggedly to his job and usually subdues the attacker.

That said, Yun does similar but has better ball control and looks a lot more dynamic in comparison.

Think he is all right. More solid than Yun.

I like him too. Does not too much wrong, pretty good going forward, defensively ok.
    Works very hard...nothing great....

We have a youngster Cole and Yun waiting........I have always backed Yun but he has never grabbed the place when he had the opportunity, in the Premiership he was regularly skinned and has seem to have suffered a few long term injuries....and suffers badly from lack of confidence.
At this moment I would play Konch in preference to Yun....but hope Cole is being prepared to take over, as he is the future....if good enough

But now is not the time to try him....the team is beginning to build and Konch is part of thst

I thought he was very poor last night. Consistently gave the ball away and has a terrible first touch.
Having said that he is as hard as nails and always gives 100%.

Can't quite understand some of the flack I have seen him get, not the best but far from the worst. When we signed him I thought it was a terrible decision mostly because I didn't like the bloke and he is a Leicester cast off, I know too many Leicester fans to have one of their cast offs. However I think he has done well enough, looked fairly solid and gives it his all

i am critical of both defenders at the full back positions they both need to attack more if they attack then goalscoring
situations are created one reason why we are not winning games is that we are just not creating goalscoring chances the stats are impressive but \all our shots are comming to nothing because we are not using attacking defenders enough

Things will change over the next few weeks. Polter came on yesterday where Colin might have brought JET on. However, Polter has to be given some time or else he will just get so fed up that he will just be a useless passenger on the payroll hot even making the bench.

Polter seemed eager enough only got about 15 mins (including 7 minutes of injury time). Missed a good opportunity to head home. Didn't even hit the ball when he really should have.

On topic ... I expect to see Yun play in one of the games either side of Christmas. Can't see Konch playing two games in three days.

I thought Polter was ok, apart from missing that chance he mixed it up a bit and won a very smart free kick in a good position. Would like to see him play a bit more, along with JET, Chery and Luongo, who I'm sure will get there chances especially as mentioned with all the games coming up

Green is the one we should be looking at. Another clearance straight into row Z and why does he take an age to throw the ball out<grr>

The job of a full back is primarily to defend. I hardly think the shots coming to nothing are because the full backs aren't attacking; I think it's because we had a lack of movement up front, which changed yesterday and we looked excellent.

Their keeper seemed to think he was Pele. In fact, the whole Brighton team seemed to think they were better than they actually are.

I agree they was there for the taking last night, wasn't overly impressed by them, good right winger & midfield tidy, but for 3 mins of madness & would have come away with a win, regards poulter thought he did alright when on & hassled defenders, but that header & luckily didn't cost us a point.

Agreed, worst I've seen him play. His crossing was awful and his passing wasn't much better, defensively he was ok but acouple of times he was caught out of position, and on another day we would've been punished!
