Oops, just saw another thread and someone already beaten me to it!

If we got him then Gyan and Cisse would be off to the African Cup Of Nations though wouldnt they?

You just know Samaras is coming. Maybe you will get Ghekas too just to greece things up a little.

Samaras can be a good player just a lazy ****e, might be good as a back-up but wouldn't pay the 3m been banded about.

Pappis Demba Cisse should be Brucie's number 1 target

he is what we are lacking and thats a proper goalscorer

so **** about the ACN and missing 5 or 6 games its the 28-29 games that he would be available for thats more important to me I would rather have him who could get around 15goals in them games than a 7 or 8goals man who will be available during that period.

The ACN also will give the likes of Wickham and Ji there chance to shine.

Cisse, Kranjcar and another striker onloan would be a brilliant last few days in the market

I also hear a rumour about Gyan off to Spurs with Pav and someone else coming the other way. If that other player was Kranjcar and we got PDC that would be a brilliant bit of business by Brucie. A strike force of the Pav n PDC would guarentee goals esp. with Sess and the Kranj in midfield

Poolie - if we bought Cisse; swaped Pav and Krancjar for Gyan then I would consider Steve Bruce to be a genius and would recind all my recent complaints.

I dont think Asamaoh's heart is with us and that will only show more and more if he stays after tomorrow night IMO. Rather than have a player who want s to somewhere else, I'd rather have plaeyrs that would relish a new challenge and Cisse, Pav and Kranjcar would represent an amazing turnaround for Bruce.

Will it happen though? Not a hope in hells chance kidda.

There are no easy games in the PL, but when the ACN is on, our run isnt that bad.

    Dates January 21 – February 12

    Jan
    Sat 14 3.00 pm A Chelsea
    Sat 21 3.00 pm H Swansea City
    Tue 31 7.45 pm H Norwich City

    Feb

    Sat 04 3.00 pm A Stoke City
    Sat 11 3.00 pm H Arsenal
    Sat 25 3.00 pm A West Brom

They probably wont even miss that many games, we may hve an FA Cup game in there as well.

btw some good news just come up on the sky sports transfer clockwatch

Manchester United striker Federico Macheda could be set to join Newcastle on loan, according to the player's agent.

Ghana are one of the favourites though and Gyan may miss them all and will no doubt be shattered when he comes back (and 2 stone over weight as well Lol). Benin wont be there long anyway at 190/1 and as for Senegal, I think they are about 21/2 so cpuld be group qualifiers or maybe not.

Whatever happens, we should have enough to get us over the line for that period and gives wnough time to blood Wickham and Won gently running up to that time, maybe in cup games and ..............................................oh bugger I've been cynical again havent I? Lol

The ACN is what it is and we will just have to start our mid season slump earlier this...........damn. done it again. Lol
