I reckon a win and a coupe of draws will see us safe.

Two wins will see us nailed on and three wins and i'm dreaming of a Europa spot!!

2 wins. I doubt the target will be more than 38 points.

I think we need another 8-9 points still which is very do able.

So two wins and two draws should do it.

There are so many teams down there that it makes me a lout happier that we have come into some reasonable form over the last 6 games.

When we went on that 8 game losing streak I was worried.

This could be the beginning of the end of Ashley. Will the takeover talks start again once we look certain to stay up?

Said on the match thread that a win yesterday was critical. Not only gives us confidence but puts more pressure on the teams below us.
If we can just squeeze over the line this could be such an important summer for us.

I think a win against Huddersfield puts us almost there, West Brom are down so two more to join them and some have very tough matches ahead, Southampton have a very tough run in and on yesterdays evidence don't look like the team to win 3 or more matches.

The team is playing with some good confidence at the moment. Yesterday was massive. 2 wins and a draw I think that will see us safe. I really hope we can try and finish in a decent place and not just scrape it though. Want to make us look like a good prospect for players and potential new owners in the summer.

Quite possibly not much. I can’t see West Brom, Southampton, West Ham picking up much more. Huddersfield are struggling too. Stoke and Palace are struggling. Sounds insane but one win might enough. All those teams look poor. Being honest it’s a poor fare this year. It won’t be this bad next year so we must invest that TV money wisely. Ideally the takeover comes good and we have the funds to make relegation less of a concern.

You have to think/fear that Ashley is looking to subsidise the sale of the club with this year's TV money. If Rafa gets all the money that the club has generated then he will have a lot to spend in the summer. It could be, though, that to bridge the gap in valuations Ashley will use some or all of that income to pay off loans to himself and in essence get the price that he wants. New owners could have their own injection of cash of course. We just have to hope Rafa isn't left shopping in the bargain basement again, as well as he's done under those restrictions previously. He could really build something here if the reins were taken off, and that includes the tight wage structure because good players will only come if they are paid well.

West Brom are down, there's only 2 spaces to fill. We've just hammered So'ton, Hudds failed to beat 10 man Swansea and West Ham look absolutely abysmal. Palace and Stoke are both in really dark places. Beating Huddersfield should really be enough as with our manager we'll inevitably pick up more draws than we expect.

Not only that but our team look entirely renewed. It's like September, as soon as the window closed, everyone settled down and we picked up points. As we approached a transfer window, we started to panic, Jan was stuttering then the window shut and we pulled it together again. We now seem really content and nobody has any transfers to think about, playing with togetherness and spirit. From April we may find we're talking takeover instead of relegation.

EDIT: Can anyone explain to me wtf is up with West Ham? These feckless arseholes got a free stadium, spunked a ****load of cash on some frankly terrible players, then replaced club legend Bilic with Davie "Fail" Moyes. If anyone deserves not just relegation but Mackem-esque oblivion it's these tossers. Forever blowing bubbles....as you sink through the murky depths down the leagues, cockerney w@nkers.

I don't think we'll need 38 points, so two wins would be enough. Just looking at our home games and all 4 look winnable (Hudds, West Brom, Arsenal - really inconsistent and the weekend after their quarter final tie in the Uefa cup which is more important to them, Chelsea - last game of the season, all their unrest and probably nothing for either team to play for), as for our away games only the Tottenham game is a probable write off (Leicester, Everton, Watford - all probably with nothing to play for).

I reckon one win and one draw (36 points) is probably enough now and if we don't do markedly better than that we deserve to go down. 2 wins, 2 draws, 4 losses is being pessimistic - given our form over the past couple of months - and would still have us on 40 points, comfortable by 4 points I reckon, perhaps more.

Deluded Cockneys with ideas above their station, mate. Not a club I like and that is almost entirely down to their fans. And there should be a public inquest into the stadium scandal.

Not sure how much the natives know, but those darn sarf will be aware that London Mayor Saddiq Khan has already got the legal team trying to cancel the arrangement.

    https://www.theguardian.com/sport/2017/dec/01/sadiq-khan-west-ham-london-stadium

Wet Spam fans are now using their unique political tactics of abuse and bullying to "not be bullied out of leaving London Stadium". Because they, unlike every other club in the country, should be entitled to a new stadium and pay nothing for it. There's not enough policing because it's publicly funded and I'm fairly sure the local council have better things to spend their money on. Wet Spam are an embarrassment but I cannot understand for the life of me what their fans are so annoyed about??

Absolutely awful club. Would love them to get a points deduction, would at least send a clear message to the "fans".
