AJ a while ago said he wanted a bar/club as a sticky, and i've just found out that in the Watford page theirs is called The Nest (as in Hornet's)
And it got me thinking, what does a Shrew live in- hole, burrow? How does The Burrow sound- choc full of Shrews
    and friends?

quite right, wikipaedia says shrews dig burrows and are related to moles. i am happy with the burrow or burrows or similar, let us have loads of suggestions perhaps including bar or club or something simple like "the burrows". we need some celebrity bar staff like -e norma spoobs, etc

wobblers have hartleys bar, gasheads have fannies by gaslight shrews could have oteleys bar, the burrows. or the shrews retreat, or anything anyone wants to suggest, it must have shropshire lad and parsnip crisps. the ginger nut could have the bar managers job when things go pear shaped down south, paul the power buckle may want a job at about the same time!

Wycombe's nearest pub is the Crooked Linesman. It used to be the Kings Head but it had no arms to signal pretend goals.

Instead of the Shrews bar being called the Burrows, how about a bit of competition in the Greenhous Madow and call it the Furrows.

aj has just choked on his tea and toast, the pride, er no. i like the loggerheads bar, no opposition supporters will understand, but we will. i do hope our moderator will veto any lennys bar and the like.

other suggestions. wakemans club in memory of the school, rowleys club, the shrews and burrow, meadowsweet, salopias retreat

Don't worry the friggin council have already employed 15 traffic wardens to patrol the area and they cancelled the Park and Ride service as it was not producing enough profit...

manfeelings, i suggest you go ahead with your sticky. we shall leave you to choose our name . i like the burrow or burrows i also like the loggerheads from mattster rather than the pride. loggerheads is special to our ancient borough and fabulous club. moderator jfdi. fs, coys, aab, and ctrb. the loggerhead and burrow would seem a nice compromise, is there anyone out there who agrees or objects. if so ye are to declare it today, or our moderator can jfdi
