Have to say I had a great wee day out in the sun despite us dropping 2 points against the Jambos. Thought they were easily the better side than us in the first half.

We seemed to be lacking something upfront, Jelavic and Naismith simply weren't connecting. Also thought Broadoot was a bit sloppy, maybe due to the fact he has been out for so long.

Not too sure about Ortiz, hot and cold. One thing that was frustrating was when Wylde came on, he was simply unable to put in a decent cross with a bit of height. We relied to much on the big punts up the field and it didn't work.

Hearts are a decent side but we should have beaten them.

the linesman in the 2nd half was having a ****ing laugh. couldnt get his ****ing flag up fast enough the prick. apart from that we just looked a bit rusty infront of goal. we should have won, 1st game of the season though. I think we'll be fine once the goals start to come and they will come.

Apart from looking very dodgy in defence for the first half hour, we needed some creative flair in midfield. McCulloch and Edu were pretty anonymous the whole match. It was also very quickly evident that Ortiz didn't have the pace or guile to get past his man, so Wylde should have been introduced a lot earlier.

I only saw the first half but I thought you were lucky not to go in at half-time 2 or 3 down. Templeton and Obua had very good chances. Your defence was at sixes and sevens at times but I think you missed Weir and his organisational skills.

Ortiz looked poor but I think he was played out of position. He looked pedestrian and lacking in guile as Tarquin pointed out.

Still, it's early days. You can't read too much into one game.

they missed some good chances 1st half we did the same 2nd half. a draw was probably a fair result. Hearts are a good team. JJ has done some good business over the summer. what about that webster ****? <laugh> he's a ****ing joke of a man

The biggest disappointment from the weekend is my shocking performance in 'I Know the Score'. EDGE & I scored an abysmal 1 point each. Of all the people who predicted all 5 matches, no one scored lower. :emoticon-0111-blush

To rub salt into the wounds, stereo is flying high in 4th equal position. <grr>

No wonder Jelavic looked lethargic in the last 20 mins.
