Well tonight I am going for a meal in Prezzo for my Sister in laws birthday. Tomorrow I am going for a drink with an old work colleague. We haven't decided what we are doing on Friday. Saturday we are out all day in Hoo looking after my Nephew and nieces five month old baby and German Shepherd dog. Sunday I will be getting on with work that needs doing in the garden. Boring isn't it having to read what people are doing. I would much rather discuss football matters on a Charlton Football forum.
Can I just say what a great job you and @lardiman do with all the stats etc. Now that Is interesting.
Prezzo's are quite nice, go on discount voucher code and you can get some really good deals. It'll be nice for you to catch up with old friends, avoid the Wetherspoons if you do not like mixing with the younger element.
To be fair, there won't be much comment posted about all the aspects of travelling to away matches now the season is over. Not that I'm against that as such, it's just that as somebody who doesn't get to away games there's nothing I can ever contribute, so end up feeling a bit left out There may in fact be more football related debate in the absence of actual football, due to the undoubtedly fascinating summer we are about to have. One way or another the 2018-19 squad will be very much changed, but for better or worse nobody can yet tell. Will there be new contracts? A new owner? And will that mean a new deal for Bowyer or a new face in the manager's office? I suspect the next 10 weeks is not going to be a dull time.
@DickPlumb I’m afraid I’m going to have to give you a yellow card. It’s unprecedented for a poster on here to start a self indulgent thread about themselves.
I went to see Mark Knopfler at the O2 last night. A sublime performance from the great man. Seeing Brothers In Arms live is one of life's greatest pleasures. Great thread, by the way.
