Well the manager with his after the game chat to 20man...... if nothing else he is pretty honest with his comments, and his remarks regarding January WERE VERY BLUNT....to get who we need some will be saying goodbye, he has tried voluntarily and through injuries to sort the defence and in his words it aint happened yet and unless it does there will be changes...has Stead Cunningham, Woolford AND Morris? back, think he said Morris. Seriously doesnt want Adomah to go, but wishes him all the best if he does..Africa that is..not Man Utd. Regarding the performance the 2 goals he was really pissotted off with, " basically said we did, well the defence did, screwed up again big time especially with the goal from the free kick, had 30 secs or more to sort it. Expect Cuningham to start next game as he subbed him before half time to get him in the groove for the second half....we need to stick with McInnes, no point in trying it on by having a new manager who would have to start all over again....the mini league is beginning to condense, Sheff win probaly not the best result as a draw would have lost a point in the melting pot.......next game is a COVENTRY City repeat......
The new manager would have to start all over again? Yeah cos Derek's really progressed things hasnt he
Heared the interview as well JG............in a nutshell, players are off in Jan (if he can offload them) and being replaced. He has tried all options at defence and can't see any other option than a few replacements. Long term injuries/fitness problems with several sqaud members including Stead and Morris, obviously Greg and Cole, are coming to an end so he is slowly getting more players available. As he said, January is THE crucial month for us. He sounded so down did'nt he?.....he must be at his wits end with wondering how to sort the defence now.
he should have started by spending some money on a couple of centre backs Teams without a spine generally go down
I am hoping we see a slightly different back 4 next game maybe at least 2 changes Cunningham for one will be in Adomah Danns Pearson Woolford( if as suspected fit) Stead and Baldock up front
Looks like our fearless leaders are prepared to dump even more money in to the pit and at this time next season will probably complain that they have lost 16 million on the year. What's that I hear - fools and their money are soon parted. I really don't believe that we have anyone at Ashton Gate capable of making a good decision so why do we expect any different. Perhaps when we are back in League 1 we might finally decide that we need to make good decisions but by then it will be far too late. Sorry to you all but I now know that I support a team that has absolutely no clue on how they should be operated and as for recognising good players and knowing how to play them, I rest my case. An absolutely disgusting state of affairs that appears to know no bounds in the insulting messages it sends to their loyal supporters who have suffered long enough.
Well mike it was 12500 yesterday and Derby came down with about 1500 so roughly only 11000 city fans bearing in mind 9000 are st holders the crowds are dropping
simples.. defend at all costs we have 2 goals.."almost gifted ones" so lets not try and be clever and lose or draw..................
Well the way one of there players went into Cunningham should of been a red card. Really thought that tackle would of set him out for another month relieved to see him get back up
Well after the carp yesterday, I ain't bothering to waste my time on Boxing Day watching another turgid defeat. As I mentioned in another posts there are are hundreds at STs not even in the ground at present. Why because they do not see any change or hope in the future.
It wasn't so much their challenges, it was the extent of their "professionalism".Until yesterday, I had respect for a club with their tradition and history however I was frankly sickened by their antics. From the moment they went in front, they wasted time like no other team I have ever seen. Every trick in the book from the keeper to the throw-in's to that tosser who got subbed walking off the pitch slower than my Grandad, and he's no longer with us...! Then the 2 who went down with some sort of mystery injury/cramp towards the end. It was an absolute disgrace, their antics were an insult to the sportsmanship and memory of his father, the great Brian Clough would be spinning in his grave if he knew what his club were up to and Clough Jnr should hang his head in shame...
