Serious question, Good or Bad ? http://www.yorkshireeveningpost.co....-united-ground-casino-scheme-latest-1-4494268
Long term good, short term bad. Money should have been invested on the pitch so we can get to the prem, then we could afford to build things like hotels & casinos. The foot fall at ER keeps dropping and a casino wont bring them back. Decent ticket prices & fair investment on the playing staff will. Or ultimatley Bates ****ing off.
It's not in the city's best interests to have a supercasino in Beeston or at a sports stadium, that's my view. The council will obviously feel the same way, especially after the way Bates has tried to shaft them in the past, so really there's very little chance LUFC's proposal will even be considered seriously. Quarry Hill is the ideal location, and I think the council will see that. Bates and Harvey want another stand to spunk our hard-earned on and build more corporate seats so there's less space for proper fans. Hope it's laughed off.
