Sorry folks......Yes I am bored!!! Anyway, the point of this thread is to find out what people drink. Maybe if SC can stock up The Nest if there is enough interest in it. For me London Pride (Will be changing tomorrow though)
going up the norwich on thursday to visit a mate at the University of East Anglia so I'll be tasting Norwich's finest brew. I've also heard there are some nice twisty roads leading into Norwich. Get to test the handling on my mighty Rover
Coming up the A11? It's not that twisty..... We have dual-carriageways and everything these days from that London.
Local tipple here is Tsing Tsao, it's Chinese Lager - about 2 quid a pint. Though quite partial to Lagavulin Single Malt when I can get it, but that's once in a blue moon, and it's not stocked in the duty free shop any more so my trips back to Blighty aren't rewarded with that anymore, woe is me
you can get Tsing Tsao over here but not for a quid a pint! warky, what about Greene King, isn't that the brew for Town? Norfolk muck, yeah right.
Adnams Supply Portman Road with the beer nowadays thank christ! Although I do like Greene King IPA & Abbot from a cask!
I'm an Abbot ale fan too - in fact I was a guest of Greene King brewery at Portaloo Rd on the day of the infamous Rob Ullathorne backpass to Gunny At wernt no bowla cherries drivin hm arter that nonsense bor !
Abbot is a decent ale, to be honest I'm more of a lager man myself but I don't mind a cheeky pint of Abbot on the right occasion.
here's a poll, what's the best strong ale - (1) Adnams Broadside (2) Greene King Abbot Ale (3) Woodfordes Admirals Rerserve All good strong beers - a tough call but i'd go for Admirals Reserve, although not widely availiable!
