Might join the union on Monday though, as I'm pretty sure this goes against all of their procedure. Joining a union never really been my sort of thing though and not sure what they could actually help with?

@Archers Road you probably know a bit about unions, right?

 

I was hacked off with my union rep , think I mentioned it . However , the advice I have got from them is invaluable . Unions are so much more than people to negotiate a pay deal . I know IF I go sick before mid December, I will get the sack , but I will have access to.lawyers etc that I would struggle to afford to pay for if I was not in the union . They are not angels , but they are far better than nothing .

Like you said they’ll just pull somebody else in who is off, find out who it is likely to be and if they’re ****s just get run over on your way home from the pub on Xmas eve. Not DEAD run over but too sore to work run over.

 

Well no I've thought it through and if I left it that late they can't force anyone to do it, I could just tell all the people who I get on with to not cover it, they can't make anyone do anything that's less than 4 weeks away...

Hopefully I can sort this out without getting sacked for calling my boss a ****cunt of the highest order though.

I work for the NHS you **** I'd be lucky to get double.

 

I offered all of new year and either the early Christmas day or late boxing day.

Didn't get NYE though which is odd as most people will want to drink etc.

 

My weekend in, bah humbug.. Get home just in time for motd.
