For MANY years everyone has been crying about no silverware - we are now getting rid of the team thats failed to do so lol... bring on new era Yes this is an unbelievably upbeat approach to our current situation - but hey, im blessed with a sunny disposition
The players leaving us aren't the ones we can really blame for failure, RVP, Nasri, Fabregas, and Song make for a very good team that can help you win silverware, as long as you provide them with further world class back up. Players we do need to get rid of would be Arshavin, Bendtner, Squilachi, Chamakh, Denilson, they are the **** players that hold us back, and it's good we have started to get rid of them including the likes of Clichy, Eboue.
If we can't blame RVP,Nasri,Fabregas and Song for failure who can we blame ? They were all major components of a team that won **** all for years. You also say that the likes of Clichy are the **** players that have held us back.In case you've forgotten Clichy is good enough to play for the current PL Champions
Those players needed time, and we sold them right when they were hitting their peaks, which even Wenger admitted. And that right there is the problem, everytime a player of ours whom we build and take time with, finally starts to reach his peak, we sell him. Song Wasn't the best player back in 2009 2010 etc, but by now, he was reaching his peak. The same with Fabregas, the same with Nasri, and the same with RVP. If we had Nasri, Fab, RVP, and Song as of now, we would have a very good chance of wining the title.
Sorry matey but i think you're talking absoloute ****e.It doesn't make me right but that is my opinion
End of story, WENGER AGREES WITH ME, so if i'm talking ****, then so is he, so are you saying Wenger's talking **** when he said we would have had a very good title winning team if we didn't sell our main players? BTW he even included ADEBAYOR, something I didn't. Fact is: RVP, Fabregas, Nasri, and Song, all together, at their peak, which they're in right now, would make us a very very strong team.
rvp is 29 years old avg peak is 26-27 he had 1 good injury free year out of 8 now its downhill for him
Peak is 26-30, vP doesn't rely on speed, so likely he could keep producing at the very top similar to Drogba until he's 33 / 34.
