To predictable, it's all long floated or drilled passes to the flanks, no real creativity at all. Iceland will sit deep and mop it up now, and have already shown they have enough on the break.
4-3-3 does not suit England's strikers, all 3/4 are good strikers but look lost in this formation.

I've always tried to be balanced when criticising England, but that was nothing short of disgraceful.

Iceland deserve credit, but that has to be possibly the 2nd most embarrassing result in England's history (only after the 1-0 defeat to USA in the 1950 World Cup).

Hodgson will be sacked before he reaches the dressing room - a lot of the players need to take responsibility too. Joe Hart's place should be under scrutiny, especially after the season Forster has had.

Go on Wales - go and show our lot how it's done. And congratulations Iceland.

And I thought coming second was the better option <whistle>

To most of you England fans, people who know me that I've an English wife and kids know I'm gutted for you.

To the ones who snide remarks about being piss poor entertainment etc, don't worry at least you've got another chance to knock us still <ok>

    Football sometimes reflects reality.

A small football team from the global equivalent to a fishing village beat our £100k per week twats.

Just like international commerce really - and still some people think we are poised for better days.

FFS WAKE UP You utter utter (I can't say what I want here)

No national pride, and certainly no self respect, which Iceland had in bundles and thoroughly deserved to win. I have been saying for years that England have totally lost their way and Roy Hodgson was never going to be the answer, and yet again we will hear about the great plans for the next five years, but we Bristol City supporters know only too well what that leads in the long run.

Disgraceful, even though I knew deep inside that we would blow this chance, and my words will never do enough to condemn what was a national insult.

Just goes to show which players have the commitment and which have only their greedy self interests at heart, but on a positive note there were some good Icelandic players who might be worth a punt for the future.

FFS things couldn't get much worse could they?

Just like the 'Out' people they will try and say it will get better over time - only it WONT. We are a small force in football which costs £100k per week yet deliver **** all.

Dismal wasn't it? What do I feel for all English supporters?

Just tune in on Friday to watch Wales progress to the semi-final. That should cheer you up!

Another reason that has killed our National team,to many Jonny foreigners in our leagues.
We should have a minimum six British players in a team.
