Not being totally aware of how the FFP restrictions on spending affect us, I ask you for your take on how much we could spend without falling afoul of the monetary police? I believe we are allowed to spend only in relationship to our earning from the previous season but exactly how the figure is derived I am not quite sure. Having dipped in to the 6-8 million pound aisle back in the summer, without success, makes me ask what will our course of action be and will it be on a single marquee player, or are we more sensible to go for a multi player strengthening? Clearly SL knows exactly what he is prepared to front up to get us back on track and be in a good position to grace the renovated Ashton Gate and from a personal standpoint I never want to see us play in League One again. This next month is critical in both the short and long term future of Bristol City and I hope wiser heads prevail when it comes down to the key decisions that must be made now - whatever they may be.
