    On the negative side
We are in the bottom four, have the poorest recent form of all our rivals, have played two games more and have fewer home games left. We still have not got a settled side and probably have only four or five players who consistently perform at a decent league 1 level.
    On the positive side
All the report show an improved performance (if not result) yesterday - at least it looks as if we will go down fighting. Perhaps Wildig and Summerfield will get back soon and Atajic will give us some firepower. The effect of the new manager coming in is an unknown and I would prefer someone with experience at this level rather than a novice as there are still a lot of points to play for.
Trying to look at it objectively we are probably more likely to go down than not but, even though it would be a great shame to lose the League 1 status it took us so long to get, I do not think it the dreaded drop would be a total disaster. Surely it will be easier to rebuild in the less demanding League 2 and I don't think the gates will suffer too much if we are doing well in that league.
Whichever league we are in it is essential we have a complete rethink at Board level so we can give the new manager the most support we possibly can. The lack of quality and depth in the playing squad has been apparent ever since we lost the majority of the first team which took us up and even Alex Ferguson would struggle to make any headway with this current crop.

An interesting formation yesterday seemed to have a positive role in our game. My neighbour is a Wigan fan and she was surprised to hear that they had loaned out Fyvie to us as he was knocking on the door of match squad.

I think we have some good players and with the rub of the green going our way a few times I am optimistic we'll get back into a position of safety.

    The problem with the drop...
    finances will be sharply cut
I don't think our own players are good enough to even keep us in league two
Has RW still got the fight...and where is he?
We wont get the quality of loan players in as good as we have got now...and the hundreds we have had ain't that much good anyway!
    Crowds will plummet
    and
Jenny will go and support Bristol Rovers (well listen to them on the radio anyway)

Looking bleak at the moment for you guys, I'd make you Shrews strong favourites for 24th place tbh, second season syndrome strikes again! <cheers>

improving with every new signing. glad the colchester game was postponed, allowing bristol city to lose and tightening things up in the bottom 10
