I thought if you were part of a union, and went on strike as a show of strength to fight for something you felt you were being wronged over that you had to actually turn up to your place of work and picket .. not piss off up the town shopping, or take the kids out for lunch, or pop to the boozer with your other oppressed colleagues ..

Have I got it all wrong :emoticon-0112-wonde

(stuck at home, using up a days annual leave to look after my daughter because her school is shut <grr>)

Considering thatcher made it illegal to have more than 6 people in a picket, everyone else will be shopping then going to a rally

That's not true is it? (the bit about 6, not the shopping bit - because that's definitely true)

    Amen brother T ..

Because pensions have been ****ed up for years now and there is a huge deficit, let's make the taxpayers fill the void. Heaven forfend that I pay a bit more for my own retirement.

Oh and why can't I have a payrise? The rest of the workforce ain't getting one but let's demand one anyway. The taxpayer who isn't getting the payrise can pay for it.

****s are lucky to have jobs. Now get my children educated you ****ing shower of failures.
