What an absolute Toss bucket - My Stoke review

  1. It's failed several times in the past, why did Pardew put Ameobi and Lovenkrands upfront together? It's about as effective as playing 9 men. Unless Lovenkrands is partenered with Leon Best, who he works well with, he's ****ing useless. From now on, if Best is out, just put Ranger upfront by himself and stick Nolan behind him.

What actually made me feel a little bit happy coming home, was the performance of young Ferguson. ****ing immense. His deliveries aren't as good or consistant as Enrique's, but he's much better at cutting in then Jonas and Enrique. I know people might bitch at me saying "well he's only played 1 games so how can you tell". If Ferguson keeps on playing aswell as he did today, then i'd start him every game at LM, or if Enrique's out, i'd be more than happy with Ferguson at the back.

Ferguson doesn't piss about at the back with all the ****ty dribbling like Enrique, and actually deals with Danger. That's one thing i like about Ferguson already. He could have quite easily scored goals today, and forced the keeper to make two last ditch saves. Ferguson is good enough to fill Enrique's boots, and if he can handle Stoke's physical challenge, then he can handle anyone. He was by far the best player for us today.

Sol Campbell and Mike Williamson = ****. I hope these last couple of games have shown our need for another CB. Coloccini did all that he could, but he was basically carrying the defense today.

Also. Tiote. Why the **** did he try and take down the Stoke players when we were 3-0down and 20 mins to go? He's lucky he didn't get sent off. I know he must have been frustrated but getting himself suspended for 3 games wont make things any better. Stupid ****ing pleb. I sense poor morale and unrest at the club. I just want us to win a couple more games, and ****ing survive, then watch the the rest of the lower teams scrap for their lives.

    My ratings -

Harper - 3 - ****e. Can't remember a worse performance by a Newcastle United goal keeper in my life. I'll forgivve him as he's been brilliant since he came back, apart from today, but i don't know what the **** he was thinking, trying to skin Kenwyne Jones twice.

Simmo - 5 - Showed some fight in a **** performance, but wasn't really effective.

Williamson - 4 - Won things in the air, but his passing and mentality was totally off today. He's a tough bloke and good in the air, but not technical enough for me.

Coloccini - 6 - Did his best to keep us from facing a rout, but his efforts were futile. Still, not such a bad performance.

    Sol Campbell - 2 - Uselss bastard!

Enrique - 5 - Did well but came off after 20 mins.

Ferguson - 9 - People may say i'm taking this to far and praising him too much, but i don't care. For a young lad, to come on in his first real game in the PL, against a brutal side like Stoke, and in a team that was ****ing **** on the day, he did fantastic. He's definetely our future LWB. Brilliant. He's not as good as Enrique yet, but i like his style better. He doesn't **** about, he's aggressive in a good way, and he cuts in far better than Jonas and Enrique from what i've seen. Enrique and Jonas may have more fancy skills, but Ferguson possesses the exact right style to be able to get into the box and beat alot of players and also produce a threat on goal. He could have had 2 goals today. Fantastic. He just needs to work on his deliveries, but other than that, brilliant.

    Nolan - 3 - Passenger

Tiote - 5 - Good at times, but stupid challenges could have seen him get sent off, and he got dispossessed too many times.

Barton - 5 - On and off. Half decent performance, but didn't threaten much really. Most of his deliveries were shocking.

    Shola - 1 - Utter crap.

    Lovenkrands - 1 - See above

Ranger - 6 - Threatened but had no one to work with upfront but that useless pile of **** Shola. Had a good shot on goal and forced a goal save from the Stoke keeper.

MOM - Ferguson and the fans. Ferguson was a beam of light in a shower of ****. The fans were again excellent. I bumped into one of me old school mates aswell. The day had it's positives.

I had my suspicions about a repeat of Bolton, and i was correct to have them. Stoke were no where near 4 goals better than us. Infact they weren't even 1 goal better than us, we totally gifted them the game, but we deserved to lose at the end of the day, and Stoke played their game to good effect.

Please Pardew, get this **** sorted out!!

Ferguson easily, one of the few players who showed any interest and made a cracking run, deserved to get a goal today.

I wouldn't of bothered rating Loven, can't remember one thing he did other than walk off the pitch. Think you were harsh on Ameobi and Willo though. Ameobi had no support from Loven and very little useful service, he made a few good runs and atleast tried to test the keeper. Still would only give him a 4 though. I also think Willo deserves a 5.

From what I hear, Ferguson seems to be mental! At least a bit better than his 53 fifa rating :emoticon-0149-no:

  11. Yes, i think Ferguson is about a 74 on Fifa.

Good pace, good ball control, good skill, good vision, decent deliveries at times, good passing with players. All that needs to improve is his crossing.
He's also got good aggression, the little **** was throttling the Stoke players haha <ok>

18 isn't he? And with the likes of Barton and Nolan and Tiote in the squad he's bound to be aggressive <ok>

  13. He's 19. I personally reckon he could be a bit of legend. He's got the right attitude and he's good enough.
He's probably going to be on the back of my Toon strip if Barton leaves in the summer.

    Ferguson = Beast.

I have a shirt with nothing on the back atm. Ferguson 31 is looking likely, if Barton or Guthrie leave I hope he gets one of those cool numbers :p

I honestly think he could do a job in the prem right now for a lower table side, if Enrique does leave in the summer I wouldn't be at all worried if he got the LB spot.

OK, he was good today but let's not get carried away ladies and gentlemen, he's still very inexperienced and isn't going to be the next Bale all of a sudden. He's got a lot of promise and potential but let's chill down a bit on the rating there Tash shall we.. he was good but not outstanding, although I see him more like a LW than a LB to be honest, he can dribble, needs to improve his crossing/delivery, he's quick, agile and nippy.

On another note agree with Willo, think we need a rock solid beast like Samba to partner Colo.

Oh and Tash what would be your team for Wolves?

You will only need the 2 more wins and I think you will be ok
You are not in the mix to go down

  20. It was promising that everyone seemed to have atleast a short spell on the pitch today.

My team for Wolves (Assuming everyone is fit in two weeks) - Apart from Tiote ofcourse.

    ------------------Harper------------------

    -Simmo-----Willo----------Colo-----Enrique

    -Jonas------Barton-------Guthrie---Ferguson

    ----------Best---------Lovenkrands-------

Or maybe 4-4-1-1 with Nolan behind Best.
