Who in their right mind could believe it? I stumbled across Finger lakes yesterday, did ten minutes of homework, and hey presto, second. Brooklyn Bound paid $8.40 the place and $5.40 the show. Genius.

So I thought in the interest of science, I'd transfer this new found wisdom to the UK shores. A race that caught my eye, was the 3.50 Chepstow over the 2 mile trip. What a crap race. More chance of finding an atheist at a Mormon picnic. A gut busting event where most of them will be hard ridden shot ducks a half mile out. My type of race. So I've settled on one who doesn't mind the course and distance, Vertueux. To be ridden by Neil "the nailer" Callan, he seems good each way value at around 10-1.

Hi Cyc down to 4/1 now the bookies must have caught onto you.I will take a stab at the bottom weight Spinning waters, supposedly a CD specialist . 9/1 so ew wager in this star studded event. Maybe Ron should run a comp based on the worst race of the day.

Then again maybe not. We would be arguing over the decision all day.

I'm all for it guys. It's always the lowest common denominator for me. Anyways, bed time. Good luck on the punt. :emoticon-0113-sleep

P.S. The weight of money for my selection shows just how much gravitas this site now has. Soon the racing Post will be head hunting us. Where will it all end? Honorary Knighthoods for us all me thinks. Sir Islander of PEI and Lord Ron of the Garter, now there's a daily double for ya! :emoticon-0105-wink:
