Hope Ashley and the rest of his mottley crew realise the error of their ways in not investing in our paper thin squad in January. What a set of complete and utter tossers we have running our club.

If Ashley and Llambias were more vocal in their running of the club I'd consider them to be doing a great job. I'll probably get slated for this but I've agreed with nearly every decision the board has made since he bought the club and most Newcastle fans don't know what they're on about

4 points off the bottom 3, one win in 10, I think it looks bleak and worrying, though I think we will stay up.

We've had a bad run, it happens at most clubs. Yes we're only 4points of the drop zone (5 if you count goal difference) but take note that the two clubs we came up with are 3 points behind us, Aston Villa, Blackburn and Fulham are all below us, League Cup winners Birmingham and the other three Ws.

They are all in a worse position than us but not crying about it like some of our supporters seem to be. Yeah we've got amongst the weakest current strikeforces in the league atm but also arguably the strongest midfield in the bottom 10. Just look at goal difference and you can see we're still on course to finish around 12th (which I would have definitely taken pre-season).

It's the problem of starting the season so brightly, fans expect us to keep it up. It's like Hull's season where they flirted with the euro spots and Blackpool this season. We're in bad form but I'm confident we've enough steam to finish above at least 3 clubs so please, for the sake of the club, stay calm and get behind the team. <ok>
