Thumped at home 7 days ago 3-0 by an ordinary looking Fulham team and then winning at the Reebok with an even further weakened team a week later against a team with a very impressive home record.

    Go figure that one out.

Special mention for Jack Colback who I think is growing week by week in stature. He is very comfortable on the ball; hardly ever gives a sloppy pass away and isn't afraid to tackle when he needs to. I hope Bruce recognises that and gives him a bigger role next season. I watched the lad from the youths through to captaining the reserves and I rate him highly.

However, he needs games now and with Catts out for the season, it is his big chance to shine.

I think the performance of Ferdinand yesterday also deserves a special mention. He just seemed to be first to every loose ball and I can't understand how he was so much better yesterday than he has been in other games this season.

ive been impressed by colback since the birmingham game. Before that i had only seen his few sub appearances in the first team and i wasnt convinced but they were only glimpses of him, however now having seen more i think we have another good young english midfielder in the squad he has done very well and looked totally comfortable in th PL.

A decent enough player but, his lack of concentration (we were warned by West Ham fans) is his undoing. A good squad player but, will he be happy as a squad player?

Also a special mention to the fans yesterday the atmosphere was electric and when the final whistle went it was party time that was still going on in the car park.

Fantastic support from the fans yesterday which contributed in making it a very enjoyable away game.
On the downside, what the hell was going on with Bolton's stewards...They were chucking out middle aged blokes for the heinous crime of punching beach balls that had been knocked their way...And then at the end of the game one of them started to push Ferdinand because he was throwing his shirt into the crowd...What a set of tossers they were!

Had a great day yesterday. Got better when I squeezed a fit lasses arse when we scored our 2nd (I think she liked it) Cracking atmosphere by the fans too.

Ferdinand, Colback and Sessegnon were outstanding. Great seeing the players reaction at the full time whistle.

    Same again next week lads.

A great day for my first away match.
There was a desire in that performance that I haven't seen for a long time.
Agree with the posts above, the fans were fantastic and Colback and Ferdinand shared man of the match for me.
Oh and waving the bolton fans off before the final whistle - SWEET

A great day out in Bolton. Don't want Ferdinand as cover for Turner. I would prefer it the other way around. Turner is not a top class premier league centre half. However did you see Samba's man of steel performance for Blackburn? Now thats what you're supposed to do Turner. But overall quality peformance and you're all right- sess, jack and ferdy were all excellent. So where to we stand on the whole Bruce out argument now?
