Klose was an excellent signing, the others have the potential to be, but we won’t know how they “step up”, until they’ve been given a chance, I think they’ll need time to adjust.
No disrespect meant at all, but realistically you're bottom feeders just like us over here, whilst the likes of West Brom add players like Jason Molumby and John Swft. There's no disgrace in a club being frugal, and we both won't be alone amongst Championship clubs in the present climate looking for freebies/low wage cost additions. Club clearouts are all very well, but there has to be the right decision makers in the driving seats with the backing and power to do so. It's going to be all about what the various managers and their coaching staff can get out of the lower echelon players they do recruit because as sure as eggs, there won't be any "big names" joining either of us - except Gareth Bale and Aaron Ramsey of course.... Must say I'll be very interested in the player movements in the three relegated Prem clubs. If Norwich, Watford and Burnley can hang on to the majority of their players, then they should be the clubs heading the pack with established squads. Some clubs will undoubtedly see next season as a battle for survival, but I'd like to think both of us either side of the Bridge can trouble the "big boys" just like Luton and Huddersfield did this year.
