Can't describe my happiness from yesterday and it was crucial we won, otherwise we were in danger of losing the new manager effect.

It's still a huge ask for us to stay up, but I'm afraid Onuoha shouldn't be anywhere near our squad if we have any chance of doing it. He just looks so nervous on the ball and his passing is truly awful.

I know I will get slaughtered about his mother dying etc and yes, he did hassle Fulham players very well on the edge of their box and one point in the game, but he's a championship player at best.

Dyer if fit, Da Silva or Luke Young in January please.

Valid point....Onuha was the one player I thought had a poor game.....going forward he has NO clue and he cant kick.

    Suprised Fabio wasnt on instead.

Harry will see who fits the position, his judgement seems to be light years ahead of MH...

Yeah, I totally agree with that. He offers nothing - NOTHING - going forward and is less than impressive in defence. I said to my son at half time that we needed to do more down the right hand side because Mackie was getting no change out of Riise and Onuoha wasn't helping that situation. I even thought Mackie might be sacrificed by bringing on Hoilett to give us some penetration there.

My only other criticisms - and this is nit-picking:
    - Faurlin, who otherwise had an excellent game, lost Petric and allowed him to have that shot on goal; and
    - Green: did anyone else think his dive for that shot was a little bit slow motion (it was clearer on MOTD)?

    But what a GREAT day.

Rubbish you have an opinion respected , watch this lad play with confidence as we grow. this championship standard is a load of bollocks... i won that debate ages ago with the cross dresser. I wish people would stop with this not good enough rubbish. Had a good look at the Norwich squad today have you? They are currently 7th in the best league in the world.
and some of them came from League One. Watch Villa take Liverpool apart yesterday?.

Dyer great pro, Da Silva will play his part ... Luke Young is injured and on crutches. Sorry i put Onuoha before these players ... Mother's die has very little to do with Football but everything to do with what's inside us all ... who is to say NO won't drive on now? He has played 21 times for his country and scored twice. If you need to study a bit more watch his goal against Chelsea when he was playing for Sunderland. Championship! ... I wouldn't be surprised to see him play for England in Brazil mate

He was solid, it was his 1st game in many weeks so i think its harsh to have a go at him, having him stay back gives Traore licence to go forward on the other side which isnt a bad thing.

I thought Onouha was solid enough defensively, but Bosingwa has given us a lot more going forward. Fulham didn't play well enough until near the end to really stretch us defensively. I'm not so confident Onouha will manage against a better team, so I hope if Bosingwa isn't working hard enough Harry will give him the necessary minerals / b*llocking!

Are those your breasts, Frankster? I noticed their prominence for a while now but only just mustered the courage to ask.

    Here's hoping.

Yes but do we want a CF, 3 AM and 2 attacking FBs constantly leaving us exposed to the counter attack? Onuoha not flying forward all the time leaves the other better attackers more licence to get forward.

This is madness. He's really going to get into the squad ahead of Johnson, Walker, Jones, Smalling, Jenkinson and the young Liverpool lad who was in the Euros squad? Can't see that happening.

Ned was fine yesterday, still think CB is his natural position. Harold has worked some kind of miracle on Traore (who has loads of talent but has frustrated the hell out of me with his away with the fairies moments) - he concentrated the whole game and is obviously keeping Fabio out. If Fabio isn't playing will SAF take him back in the New Year.

Side point - looked at the name son the bench yesterday, would have been happy with any of then, with the exception of Ferdinand, in the starting line up.

Anton Ferdinand is our weak link at the back, in my opinion. Happy that he's just on the bench and hope that Nelsen & Hill stay fit. Come January, 'Arry will no doubt bring in a 'top top' centre back. Only saw the highlights, currently abroad, but thought Onuoha was decent enough.

Agree the bench looked very strong. I thought Onuoha was very solid in defence, but agree he isn't much cop attacking. Unfair to pick him out imo as he played quite well. Although I'd play Fabio at RB.

All you can ask of defenders is to be solid defensively and attackers to create things, I dont like defenders who cant defend but get forward (Boswinga) and attackers who cant attack but track back (SWP).

Surely getting Hoilett to track back is much easier than trying to get SWP to suddenly start scoring or creating. Same goes for Onuoha who was very solid but didnt go forward.

As for Traore, he admits he has to learn defensively which will mean he will improve over time, Bowsinga clearly hasnt been good enough yet thinks his recent "efforts" are good enough.

Trouble is then we have just 2 CBs and 2 CMs back if we lose the ball. I thought it worked quite well letting Traore go at will knowing he still had 3 defenders back at all times. So I think Fabio is the better player but we look more balanced with Onuoha playing.
