Todayââ¬â¢s a better day, a more positive day and we are back to looking forward, mind a few things I donââ¬â¢t want. I donââ¬â¢t want to hear any of the players telling me how they understand my pain, they feel the same, no you donââ¬â¢t so please donââ¬â¢t tell me you do. I donââ¬â¢t want to hear Bruce telling me how he is looking for a reaction next weekend, sick of reactions, I would just like a bit of consistency if thatââ¬â¢s OK. Not getting into the who should play and what formation, we debate it all week but Bruce picks and thatââ¬â¢s it. Every one of the team who started yesterday is a good premiership player, they have all shown that at some stage and they are at the very least capable of tight defending, creative and combative midfield play and making the opposition keeper work. I suspect that like the rest of you I neither demand or expect us to win every week, I just expect us to try. Now, all that said, we still enter March sitting in 8th place with every chance of finishing 7th or even 6th, providing we play how we can. We still have quality players in the team and quality players to come back into the team. All we need is for the team to turn up and perform next weekend, get a result then move on to the Liverpool game and do it again. A big all I know but for 20, 30, 40, 50 thousand a week, top training, preparation and coaching facilities and a set of fans who will treat them like gods for, well doing what they are well paid to do. Is it too much to ask, surely not. The sun is shinning in Coxhoe this morning and Osca and I enjoyed our walk.
