Some people just don't think when they do **** like that. My mate phoned his mum from satellite phone in Uday Hussain's palace. He was in the Desert Rats, said the place was plush as ****.
I was at Camp Victory first time round which was a huge, sprawling base which used to be Saddam's hunting and fishing retreat. Had villas all round the massive man-made lake which contained his own breed of fish. HQ was in the palace (he basically had a palace wherever he wanted) and you've never seen such extravagance. The marble was incredible and there was this massive crystal chandelier which hung in the reception area. The kazzies had solid gold fittings and there was also solid gold writing adorning the walls everywhere. The Yanks couldn't resist and every now and again a letter would disappear off the walls till finally there was basically a fullstop left
