That has to be as good a game as any we will see at the gate.

Two sides playing football, trying to win the game.

A fabulous advert for the championship.

I will put my head on the block and say any side above Blackburn come the season end will be promoted, what a class act.their play was so threatening, there ball retention was brilliant.

We have competed today with a very good side.
when have we been able to walk out of the gate thinking we have lost, but what a performance, what a game to watch.

I said the year Newcastle and WBA went up that no sides would touch them,I think Blackburn will do the same.

What a cracking game we witnessed today.

    I agree.

But it did show where our weaknesses are very clearly, we have been banging on for ages about getting a dominant CH in, and to top it off Fontaine had one of his nightmare games to compound the issue.

Thought Ryan Taylor played well and Skuse was everywhere. Pearson was off it but got a bit better last 20.

Cant blame the full backs, we are very close to being a good side but we have to get that defence sorted..

But above all they played my music choice at the Kick Off...

    You have to question Mcinnes.
How can you trust him - of all the Roy Orbison classics he opts for Penny Arcade. I ask you.

The game was great for a neutral but the middle of our defence is shocking and Fontaine in particular had a nightmare.
FFS how difficult is it to get a decent CH. He's brought in quality up top but it's of no use if we need to score 5 at home to DRAW.

We miss Marv defending set pieces. He in't the best passer you've ever seen but we didn't half miss him in our box today.
The midfielders we have, other than Skuse, are girls in the air and defending in general.

At times we played some great stuff going forward but until McInnes brings in a CH he might be forced to play Elliot to shore up our defence.

How close are you to being a good side Banksy?:emoticon-0102-bigsm

Whatever way you dress it up it is pointless in scoring 3 if you let in 5 the result is still the same you lose great game for the neutral surely not a Robin <wah>

5 games in and you have lost three if you dont beat the Posh next who have nil points with a goal diff of -8 then you are close to having a poor side!

The 5th goal was purely from where we were desperately going for it at the death. I'm not to worried about that one!

Its kinda nice to see Heaton up in their box at 4-3 down in a league game trying to get something. (he even got a header in!)

Entertaining game and lessons to be learnt...

Redprintt.....we will not need to score 5 in every home game, because we will not be playing blackburn every home game, i agree our short comings in defence where exposed today, have no worries, dm will sort it out......going forward we are terrific & great to watch now!!

And we will lose on numerous occasions again.

Its not the losing its how you lose... and thats something you poor Sags need to look at because you went to gillingham today and just rolled over for them, you are truly shocking and you were the only bookies 'dead cert' today.

    Thats sad mate...

    glad I'm not Sag...

rather they were banging on about having the best support in the world and calling themselves barcelona. Nevermind, they'll have 20,000 crowds playing in the premiership in no time <laugh>

Fantastic example of the quality of footy available in the Championship, one of an emotional rollercoaster i must add but nevertheless i came away not to disappointed after experiencing this one.................
Blackburn were the better team but chasing the ball for long periods would exhaust any team and that we looked..........
**But we got at em and had a right good go** (well done lads)
Not many teams would come away with something from our own performance and believing that can only be a positive thing
Posh, Cabbage town away then bring on the dirty L***s

To be honest The gills looked a solid side, however if we played them ten times we would win 7 out of 10 comfortable.Martin Allen will take them up I'm sure.

I'm not into this rovers malarky, but your club seems to be in a big mess and seriously carry on the way your going the conference is waiting.

Us on the other hand are a million miles from where we were this time last year.

Del really has turned us around we can score for fun,get the back end right and we will be a force this year,we went toe to toe with Blackburn yesterday a draw would have been a fair result.
