Assuming Watford (max 88) and Palace (max 86) win all their games, we need 14 pts from 27 available to guarantee promotion (which is priority) If Hull win all their games too, we'd need 18 pts to go up as Champions (which is a bonus) Great results for us yesterday but we have to make it count today and Monday before going to Watford next week. Still a long way to go yet though and anything can still happen. I'll relax when it's mathematically impossible for us to "do a Cardiff"
A win for us today will put a lot of pressure on Palace and Watford. They'd both need to win 4 games straight and us lose 4 for them to catch us. Neither look like putting that sort of run together at the moment. I'm with you H, one the maths means we can't be caught I'll relax, though a 10 point deduction for us would make it interesting. Nothing has really changed, results have been good for us because whoever is in second place doesn't count(although the title would be nice), it is the 3rd place that's our only concern, and it should be the only concern for Hull fans as well now they managed to create a gap.
