Just walking home from stadium! With a huge smile on my face :)

The passing was superb! Super Kev was everywhere, Mutch looked solid and didn't realise how big he was can defo play that holding midfield role, Tommy Smirh superb and Craig Noone was WORLD CLASS!!

Malky got the formation sport on! And we never had this luxury before normally I look at the bench and worry that we haven't got the players to change the formation and close out a game now we have!

It was great stuff, no question. Noone and Smith were superb. Let's not get too carried away but that performance has ...got me carried away.

I forgot about Whittinghams hat trick!!! I left before they named man of the match who was it?! As Noone was the MoM IMO!!

Just gutted we conceded first had him down as first goal scorer and 3-1 Cardiff

£5 @ 125-1

But the Performance soon made up for it!

You forgot Maynard who I thought was outstanding and has pace as well as a nice touch and awareness he will score goals!!

For me though today the big winner and difference was Width we finally had some Noone as you say looked pure quality and Smith was deceptively comfortable on the ball but both held the touch line or in Smiths case he rotated with Super Kev. That made such a difference to our side we looked more balanced and the midfield were able to knock it around far easier as we weren’t so congested in the middle of the park.

Cracking bit of business by Malky and all the new players at least replaced or improved on the players left out today. I was delighted with today performance and result and cant6 wait to see how Kimbo and Bellers fit in with this lot we witness today.

Whits had to be mom!

Thought Noone and Smith were superb. Maynard always found space and there was the start of a partnership building between him and hh IMO. Teams are going to struggle when we have cb and noone on the wings. Having said that cb will have to play very well to keep Smith or Noone out of the side on today's evidence.

fantastic Display today, Wolves are a very good side, but we more than matched them, as previously mentioned Noone was superb, Whitts and Smith also played blinders.. And then to bring on gunnarson, mason and cowie, with kim bo on the bench and bellers injured the strength in depth we have is plain to see.. Looking forward to the Leeds game, on that performance it's gonna be one hell of a game.. :emoticon-0100-smile

That's exactly what we want Stevo. Pressure on places and players on the bench that can make a difference.

It also keeps the opposition manager guessing. They've no idea what formation or what players they are going to be up against.

442, 451, HH leading the line or a fast man off the last shoulder. MM can also change the formation mid game. Anyone coming off the bench running against tiring legs will make a difference.

Fantastic performance today. Tommy Smith was solid throughout, very impressed. Noone was a revelation up front and worthy of the magic hat the way he weaved through their defence. Whitts was on fire and does what he wants. Super Kev seemed back to his best, though Ebanks -Blake, who eats what he wants, wasn't exactly Usain Bolt. Great all round performance from the boys.

Thought Conolly stepped up after last week. Looked solid with Huds. :) Very reassuring.

Noone is exactly what we've been missing. Brilliant signing Malky

We needed pace and the board backed Malky with players who are going to make a massive difference.

Wolves will be top 6 in my opinion.

Beaten without the best centre half in the division and the best player in the division (Turner and Bellamy)

Some teams are in for right hammerings with our attack.

What a day!!!.
I know its early days but nothing above to disagree with tbf.
Noone, Maynard, Smith all exceptional. Connolly 100% improvement. Huds hit everything and Kev? ...we've missed you.

Would have been nice to see Kimbo... but thats to come.... oh, and some guy call Bellamy who I hear isnt bad.

Its been a good day Bluebirds. Lets hope for more of the same <ok>

Still over the moon with today’s efforts when was the last time we witnessed a player running at people at will like Noone did today but with the great effect he did it??

Burke springs to mind and I know its only 1 game but Noone seems to have that bit more pace and change of direction that makes him the better player I think.

Mind you I have just realised Whits and his selfishness in taking the free kick cost me a CS in the old prediction league he's so selfish that guy he just dose what he wants and if he carries on like that he's going to p~ss off more people.

Wolves could play like that every week and still stay clear of trouble. There will be far worse teams at the CCS this season.

for me its simple, we've got better players than before, 4 home debuts and each did very well.

noone offers pace and trickery, something we didnt have last season. smith impressed me and looks a very good player at this level. and although maynard didnt get much service up front he is pacy and a decent dribbler, certainly not just an out and out finisher that i thought he was.

for me wolves just had a shocking game. on that evidence they wont be in the top 6, tbh they looked as if they were going through the motions and didnt play with any passion.

there will be far stiffer tests in the future and for the first time since i've been supporting this club we have game changers and quality on the bench, at times we've had a starting 11 roughly equal to this one but never the bench.... most fans in this division will envy this squad.

Yeah! The bench is what wins you the game where we can change formation and close games out! We've NEVER had that luxury in the years I've been a supporter!
We just need a few loan signings for cover at the back!
To think we didn't even have these players on the bench:-
Conway
Kiss
Mcphail
Bellamy
Turner

And best of all these are all OUR players no loans... this is a squad!

Very pleasing, Noone was brilliant, Smith solid very good passer of the ball, Maynard done every thing but score. I thought HH done loads of the donkey work against two big defenders, made a right pain in the arse of himself.

There will be setbacks but this is our year.
