Our relegation odds have plunged from 1/8 to 4/7. I must admit I'm sorely tempted to bang a score on West Ham at 25/1, they've got a seriously tough run-in... http://www.oddschecker.com/football/english/premier-league/relegation
Still odds on though, and its important for us to remember that; if we can keep our feet on the ground the last 9 games will be a little less painful for us all. Encouraging turn around in the odds though, shows that there are people out there believing enough in our quest to place their hard earned on it. Might take a sneaky punt myself even though I'm not a betting man.
Looking at the fixtures i really think if we can get a result at Villa next week we will stay up. It maybe hard to say 5 wins out of 9 but if we beat Villa/Wigan/Reading then we have Stoke/Arse/Newcastle at home to try and get the rest. for me it's next weeks game that will decide it but a draw won't be the end of the world. Reading are gone (not good enough) funny only 3 weeks ago some on their board were saying they would be putting us down at their place (and the usual hope we get relegated and go bust) That might come back to haunt them? Now that would be funny Wigan/Villa are weird teams because just when you think they are finished the bounce back. I also reckon another 2 teams will be in this fight after the next 4 games esp Saints who have a very tough run of games. We just need to keep the faith and keep going.
