If we go back to this time 12 months ago, it was all doom and gloom, we hadn't got any players in, We were playing pre-season games as well, Moyes with his defeatist attitude in his press conferences, now, this time, everything's different, a new manager who knows what he's doing as well and is doing very well at the world cup with The Netherlands as well, He's a winner, something Moyes is not.

We'll be back to where we belong this season and that is, premier league champions.

Matth this time a year ago Moyes hadn't even f**king properly joined us. The window hadn't opened, we hadn't played a single f**king game, and UIR was telling anyone who'd listen that Moyes was gonna do great. And you were still predicting we'd be PL champions.

Seriously mate, I feel for you with some of the **** you get at times, but then you come out with something like this and look like an absolute plank.

    This.
This time last year United were an unknown entity.
You had just smashed the title, but then lost the greatest manager of all time and replaced with him Moyes.
There were talks of you signing Fabregas and Mata (the latter of whom you eventually got in Jan of course) to bolster your midfield, plus Fellaini, who people retrospectively believed would be a great signing.
So my thoughts on United personally were...."I aint got a ****ing clue how well they will do".

This summer I am kind of of the same thinking, although you have a manager with a good amount of pedigree now, so thats got to be a +.
You have lost a lot of the old deadwood and signed Shaw.
Not enough information to give any sort of indication as to how well you will do this season, I will let you know in August.
United and Liverpool are the real mysteries this season.

Will United get back in the top 4? Depends on signings.
Will Liverpool stay in the top 4? Depends on signings.

At the moment im leaning towards United usurping them purely because your two seasons last year respectively may have been one offs.
But again, my prediction may change come August

I suspect this time a year ago, you were again predicting you'd be premier league champions.

For god's sake Matt, button it!

You might get a tad more credance if you stopped with the nonsense. Next you'll be using the YSB's term " this will be our year."

Whatever, DON'T go down that road.

Do you have to give Moyes **** every time you give Van Gaal credit ?

For **** sake Math, Moyes may not have been the right man for the job but the man still deserves some respect in my opinion. Van Gaal, who hasn't managed us for one game yet, is the new messiah whilst Moyes is suddenly dog **** ? Ok <ok>

Wonder what matths opinion of his new messiah will be if United lose their first few fixtures.

This time last year, United was a nothing club with no money playing in the Blue Square North league.

Through Moyes' ingenious leadership- not only did he raise them up 6 levels in the Football League hierarchy- he had them fighting for a place in European football. The level of exertion caused him to have to retire- he could no longer maintain such levels of brilliance- so his son, LVG, who he conceived whilst on a time-traveling expedition; was brought in to continue to his legacy.

If LVG continues in the same manner- United will be promoted from the Premier League this season and placed in the Man Utd league next season- in which only MU are allowed to play.

/ I wanted to try rewriting history too!
