Its all getting repetitive now, we are self flagellating over something we have no control over.

Anybody with half a brain would realise Bruce is not going to get sacked, yet we football supporters consider ourselves to be more knowledgeable in these matters than football commentators and journalists whom have spoken with a deafening silence, as by and large there has been no press rumours of Bruce being sacked, so either Short employs the CIA and Bruce will be despatched ala Bin Laden - no prior publicity rather than a lead cranial implant, or they acknowledge the injuries and the Bent sale will ensure Bruce gets more time.

There is no smoke without a fire, when the press start speculating is when we should start touting replacements until then it is all hyperbole and I'm sick of it.

I think the opening article is a tad harsh on Elmo he aint that bad

As for Brucie he should stay he has made mistakes but I back the bloke and think he will improve us next season.

If he did go though the man to get would be Moyes, he has shown at Everton with limited money what a good manager he is, I think he would seriously consider us, we are a club wanting to improve and he would get something he hasn't had at Everton and that is money to spend

Poolie i have always valued your articles but on this topic i find you totally wrong, all of the reasons have been put forward by others, if this ****er stays, the crowds will plummet, the young uns wont want to support losers and we will go backwards.

I think one of the big differences is that Stoke fans don't get on their teams back the second they make a mistake unlike they do at Sunderland. This can make the difference of players playing with confidence or being scared to make a mistake. For me that is the major reason why players that were classed as useless by many Sunderland fans are doing ok at Stoke.
Having said that, there is still a chance that we could finish above them in the league this season.
