I listened to SOD on RB yesterday and liked what he was saying. However - when 20p asked him which players could fit into his vision of a "possession" game he said "all of them". He stated that it was all about taking up the right positions to give the player with the ball options for the next pass. That is what we work on in training he said. Soooo - they are already working on it in training all the players here are capable of playing that way - yet we only had 29% possession in the first half against HUDDERSFIELD...! Everything he says sounds right and makes sense but it doesn't seem to match with what we see on the pitch. So while I hope he can actually 'walk the walk' so far it just seems to be all talk and no action....
bloody shambles about sums the season up, along with a few phrases like ****ing disgrace. be glad to see the end of it. (still be at charlton tho shouting myself hoarse)
I have barely missed a game for years but today I was about to get in the car and head to the game, checked the team sheet and instead took my daughter and wife out instead. Think I made the right choice. You could see by the team selection that they werent going to win today. If they had put a couple of the youngsters in like Burns I would have gone to support them but the players playing dont care as most will be hoping to be off in teh summer.
