I kind of wish the Man Utd match came next, so that we could carry the momentum into that match.

 

Brilliant, bit annoying we couldnt get a few more, bit wasteful again. Happy to be wasteful when we already have 3 in the bag though.

Henderson was impressive, I prefer us without Allen at the moment.

 

For once we kept the momentum up.

Realy please, some of our underperformers doing better and the guys played with a smile on their faces.

The guys not in the team are going for it too when they get a chance.

 

Johnson was phenomenal tonight, seems better at LB and Wisdom had a great game too. Loved that 2nd half.

 

Dare I say it... Downing is welcome to stay in this window.

 

He has sorted himself out and is useful in the squad. Would like better players ahead of him though.

As far as I'm concerned Downing is more than welcome to stay as long as this form continues. He's got a wonderful first touch on him and a belting cross. Goes to show what a bit of confidence can do, he always had the ability and now he's showing it.

 

I was impressed with Wisdom, felt we was more solid with him at the back there, and he has a shot on him as well.

Henderson played well as did Downing,obviously luis was immense, shame he didn't get a hatrick.

 

I think the difference now with Downing is that when he's getting in to good areas he's picking some one out 8 times out 10. His first touch has improved drastically and when he's getting the ball now his first intentions are to run with it.

Something tells me if he remains at the club his standards will drop again, I'm happy to be proved wrong, though.

 

Yeah I agree.

Lets keep him until the end of the season and see what happens.

We won't be able to replace him in this window anyway.
