We've only just begun to live
    White lace and promises
A kiss for luck and we're on our way
    We've only begun

Before the risin' sun, we fly
    So many roads to choose
We'll start out walkin' and learn to run
    And yes, we've just begun

Sharing horizons that are new to us
Watching the signs along the way
Talkin' it over, just the two of us
Workin' together day to day, together

And when the evening comes, we smile

    So much of life ahead
We'll find a place where there's room to grow
    And yes, we've just begun

Sharing horizons that are new to us
Watching the signs along the way
Talkin' it over, just the two of us
Workin' together day to day, together, together

And when the evening comes, we smile
    So much of life ahead
We'll find a place where there's room to grow
    And yes, we've just begun

I wanna take you to a gay bar,

I wanna take you to a gay bar, gay bar, gay bar.

Let's start a war, start a nuclear war,
At the gay bar, gay bar, gay bar.
    Wow! (Shout out loud)
    At the gay bar.

Now tell me do ya, a do ya have any money?
I wanna spend all your money,
At the gay bar, gay bar, gay bar.

    [Pause]

I've got something to put in you,
I've got something to put in you,
I've got something to put in you,
At the gay bar, gay bar, gay bar.
    Wow! (Shout out loud)

You're a superstar, at the gay bar.
You're a superstar, at the gay bar.
Yeah! you're a superstar, at the gay bar.
You're a superstar, at the gay bar.
    Superstar.
    Super, super, superstar

She had a voice, I'll give her that. All a bit schmaltzy for my liking, but you can't help singing along when a Carpenters song comes on the radio..

    Loved The Carpenters.

She had quite possibly the finest voice ever, along with Billie Holiday and Dusty Springfield.

Billie Hollday had an seductive and demonstrably emotional voice but one of the finest voices ever? Nah, don't think so.

Ella Fitzgerald on the other hand...

I think it can safely be deduced that Karen Carpenter didn't swallow <ok>

Poor lassie spent her entire adult life trying to stop her brother banging her.
