.....and gained a permanent signing. Kiss has signed 4 year deal with a fee of around £500k agreed to convert it from a season long loan. MM must have high hopes for the lad as he'll need to be premiership class in the next season or so. http://www.walesonline.co.uk/footba...ng-term-contract-at-bluebirds-91466-30441317/
indifferent to this really, maybe its just me, i see him as backup, i dont seem to notice him really, despite seeing alot of matches i still dont know what sort of player he is!
He likes a tackle and getting stuck in - look at his bookings so far. Didn't he get a yellow a few minutes after coming on last Sunday? He needs to improve certain parts of his game - passing and shooting for instance but his commitment is not in doubt Definitely one for the future once his rough edges are smoothed out. Also gives certainty for him and the club. And gives us space for more loans in when malky pulls his finger out.
He's young, comfortable on the ball, can finish, he'll get stuck in and should only get better. I see his long term position, central, as one of a 3 man midfield. Squad would definately be a poorer place without him. I was at Derby away and he was brilliant, haven't seen that level of performance at the CCS tbh, but I do believe in his potential. For me it's another signing that shows MM is looking at the bigger picture and intends to be here over the next couple of seasons to reap the rewards of signing young players (I know Malky signed a 3.5 yr contract but actions speak louder than accepting a pay rise).
Stevo - I'll agree with the first and last of those attributes, but he's been less than comfortable on the ball a number of times I've seen him. His finishing could also be a lot better. I think this is all to do with the pace of the Championship, and as you say, he is young and will definitely get better. Haven't seen any of the away games "in the flesh", so will bow to your asessment of him at Derby.
Agreed. It's a good move to get him permanently imo. There's no doubting his commitment. Ok, little rash in the tackle sometimes but he's young and will learn with age and if anyone can teach him, Malky can
Hopefully a good signing for the future......what of Gestede, is he going to make it, and what sort of transfer fee would he command do you think?
Derby, Coventry and Wembley are my only 3 tbh. I think I posted on here how well he did at Derby, he played quite high up the pitch and linked play brilliantly, he almost played in the 'hole'. I think he has the ability on the ball, it's just the pace of the Championship catches him sometimes. I've got the idea about his finishing from watching him warm up that day, maybe he was just having a good day.....
