Good that Carra finally speaks sense for a change. It's a shame that others have said the same thing for a couple of years now. And I wouldn't want Carra as a coach - don't think he's particularly clued up nor would his defensive style compliment Rodgers.

Not until they get their badges, get an entry level job and work their way up and prove themselves. Having a good playing career does not translate into good management.

Neither will ever take on management, the badges thing is for kudos with them. the fact is they have more money than they every need and their sky salaries more than cover any living expenses annually. they get to live in their massive paid for mansions, never have to move... can turn on of a weekend and go do their gig then get the hell out with wads of cash and live well for ther rest of thier lives. Carragher talked big but he's bottled being a coach. he'll have seen the worst mistake alana shearer ever made was taking on newcastle out of some loyalty to he club too late to do anything but get relegated then look like a gobshite... had he sat back and let it happen they would still have gone down but he'd still be mythical to them. The good thing about LFC is nobody is ever going to clamor for carragher to manage them just like alan hanson got to sit by and watch while souness ruined the club. LFc will chase form foreign coach next and carragher can continue to swan in round the club getting insider stuff and writing crap in papers... the thing is................ who could blame them cos we'd all do the same.
