The man has no idea how to defend. He couldn't even have a go with the players he had at Man City, so I am not expecting anything at all from Mark Hughes, he only knows a little bit about attacking.

Not really. He had a pretty strong team at Man City and he couldn't get those boys motivated - Tevez with his hot head inluded, and we have our own in Adel - Hughes won't know what to do.

Because he had Prem defenders who had been there for a number of seasons, whereas we still have mostly the same as those we had last season in the Champs. Not to knock the likes of Orr, Hill or Connolly, they need a bit more experience in dealing with some world-class strikers.

You're a little ray of sunshine, aren't you?
You obviously have strong negative feelings about Hughes and his advisor, which you are entitled to. What does MH have to do to make you change your mind, apart from dress up like NW?
    Give him a chance mate.

Pretty crappy yappy. His record speaks for itself. And if we do go down I would much rather it be playing attacking football than the neck craning stuff that NW was entertaining us with of late.

Your an idiot. Have you seen his premier league record? Didn't have great players at Fulham but they were solid as hell at the back

Don't be too hard on Yappy. It's not his fault he's a twonk. Probably dropped on his head as a baby.

I blame the parents personally, if they monitored their kid's internet usage we'd not be reading his twaddle.....

Prem defenders? Andy Todd and he brought in Samba from Hertha Berlin were he was only back up. Hardly Prem defenders at the time, Hughes made them good.

Todd's career, no more prem defender than Orr, Hill or Connolly.

I suggest not attending any further games or reading up on the team to save you from the pain, then.

The following clip from the Guardian probably worries me the most about MH, we cannot afford starts like this: "The risk attached hinges largely on whether Hughes can hit the ground running. At Blackburn and Fulham, he endured somewhat stodgy starts, form QPR can ill afford. Rovers had boasted two points from five games when he succeeded Souness at Ewood Park in September 2004 and, despite beating Portsmouth in his first game, were bottom after failing to win any of the next eight. A final position of 15th represented a triumph in trying circumstances. Even at Fulham, where the need to revitalise the squad felt less pressing, he won only twice in his first 10 matches"
