What is most clear after listening to Warnock yesterday is the fact that the so-called £10 million transfer kitty was another made-up story that we all fell for. There is not a directly attributable comment to Bernie or Flav that states what was being made available to spend, just several repeated speculative stories in the usual suspect rags. For the past 2 months that has been the line we've all followed and it turns out to be another false trail. Anyone who believes the sale of Taarabt will generate transfer funds is deluded, it'll simply be more profit for the gruesome twosome to spirit away before they cut and run, hopefully before our position is irretrievable.
Share your frustration, Sooperhoop, but for the next few weeks, we're gonna have to be patient and watch, in order to learn what exactly is happening inside LR...
I agree with you Goldhawk, but how long as I have been waiting since 1946?? is that long enough? If you read my past post , I have enlighten you all re; the two rich leaders!!
the two so called owners are a complete waste of space the sooner they get out the better ,how do they expect to survive in the premier league if they wont spend, and they dont seem to care what a pair of muppets
I concede you've been very patient James, although we've had a success or two since 1946! The problem I have with condemning the Goons out of hand at this stage, is that it's pretty clear most of the Premiership sides are running themselves into serious debt from the capital cost of new players, high wages and agents fees. It was predictable that Ecclestone, anyway, would baulk at this, and play hardball to get best value for money. This means taking negotiations to the wire ie end of the current transfer window. So we won't really know his true intentions until then. If NW is still operating on a shoestring at that time, then the sh*t hits the fan (or should I say fans?)...and they'll be justified protests. So we have to wait...
