The weatherman says it will be gale force winds with rain on the weekend.
I will of course be listening to the game in my warm and dry home..
BUT would still rather be with you Guys at Home Park..

I wondered what you were posting when I saw the title "Wet and Windy" there BC. Sounded more like the morning after a few pints of scrumpy and a pasty.

The weather here has been bloody aweful this winter. I don't mind some rain and I don't mind some cold and I don't even mind a bit of snow now and again. It hasn't been that cold but it has been more than a little wet and windy. So much so that I'm more cheesed off with winter than normal. Sad thing is that our pitch is so good at draining these days that matches are unlikely to be called off no matter what. The wet bit is ok but the windy bit spoils a lot of games and football is hard to come by at the best of times at HP. Consolation is that our fixture list won't get as congested as some clubs. Believe Newport have lost four out of last five games at home or something like that. When they start having to play 2 matches every single week to catch up then it gets a lot harder with injuries and tiredness.

    It's arrived already BC.....

Been whacking it down for most of the day and blowing a good'n. I've got to go to the local school in about 20 minutes to pick up a couple of little people. Yes they are related. Think I'm going to get a bit soggy round the edges. All that and they eat all of my sweets, drink all of my fizzzy pop and wreck the house in minutes.
