If you had the choice between the 2 who would you pick to be our custodian next season? They seem to have divided the fans with good and bad points for both what do you think?
Westwood. Younger. Cheaper on wages, will piss Cov off, will blend in with a the current squad while Given will stand out and will be our keeper for years to come while Given you will probaly get 2 years out of
Westwood. He is only young and he has potential to improve. He is experienced in the Championship. He is a leader. He plays for Coventry so it'll wind them up if we get him.
Got to be Given for me - still an absolutely cracking keeper and recently gave the irish a tournament win conceeding 0 goals (granted the strike force attacking him included Naismith). Would gladly place him name on my shirt (so long as Heskey doesnt steal his thunder in that regard)
Westwood long term, Given short term. If Sven has to deliver this season, i'd tell him to go for Given
Westwood - young, eagre and will blend well in the team. Someone like Given will be more prone to a "been there done that" school of thought and I'm just concerned it may upset the synergy.

According to todays papers Keiren Westwood is signing for Sunderland. If he does i wouldnt mind us getting either Gordan or Mignolet on loan or signing them
