Weston-Super-Mare away

First friendly date set for July.



City will kick-off pre-season with an away match at Weston-super-Mare FC in July.




The Conference South club will play host to Steve Cotterill’s men on Wednesday, July 9th (kick-off TBC) at the start of pre-season.




Boss Cotterill said: “The Woodspring Stadium pitch is a big reason behind the decision to visit Weston in pre-season because we want to play good football.




“It will be a good community game and I’m sure a big crowd will be in attendance as it’s a short trip for our supporters.”




The match will precede the club’s pre-season tour of Botswana.

I lived there for 25 years and never went to see the football team once (well we had a first division side just up the road lol)

In fact i'm amazed they're still in business (with their average gates of 30)

 

They're average gates are more like 300..?
