Thinking about driving down on friday night and staying in a hotel with the other half. Anybody got any ideas where to stay? Dont really wanna stay in the rats nest that is London so looking at cambridge area. Also, how many tickets we sold? cheers
I'm surprised there's that many going. It's a lunch time kick off in London in a televised dead rubber (for us) game and it's £20 for a 16 year old (£32 adult). I know the televised bit was only confirmed this week, but it was predictable that they'd be looking for something from the game so it would be on.
Cambridge is about 60 miles away from the game. I'd stay somewhere like Shoreditch, it's about 5 miles from the west end and 5 miles from the Hammers game and it's good round there on a Sunday(Brick Lane/Spitalfields etc). There's nothing to do in Watford, not unless your hobby is watching Asians shopping...
thats what i thought, as im missing out my mate is trying to wind me up that 3500 city fans are heading down, , im hoping our allocation is 200 to shut him up
Richard Sutcliffe, in the Yorkshire Post, reckons it'll be awful for both Tigers fans and team, if West Ham pull it off: "Should the afternoon develop as the Hammers hope, the Tigers will be the uninvited guests at what the East End locals will no doubt later describe as a ‘right old knees-up’ and if that proves to be the case then it will be difficult not to feel for Nick Barmby’s men." and "So, if West Ham do prevail tomorrow lunchtime and pip the Saints to second place, having to watch the celebrations that will follow at the Boleyn Ground can surely only add to the frustration felt by City’s players and supporters as they contemplate what might have been." http://www.yorkshirepost.co.uk/spor...itions-have-again-proved-pipe-dream-1-4490149 It's up to City to piss on their bonfire and, moreover, try for seventh spot.
