http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-northern-ireland-15575614 £20000 of money donated to the renal unit in Omagh is going to be used to pay for art in the new Enniskillen hospital. Now, I am not opposed to therapeutic art because it's benefits are well documented but this money was donated to the renal unit by patients and/or their families for use in that specific unit. It seems to me that Omagh hospital is losing out every time even though it has always provided excellent service to the locality.
terrible, shocking, awful news ,infact i might go as far as to say devastating , unwarranted and downright nasty
I think I like it better when he was 'George Jetson' and he would post lame games rather than boring stories.
I used to give him a load of stick but reading through the millions of arguments on religion and all the rest of it I think he's actually one of the better posters on here now. Bit geeky and poor musical taste but nobody's perfect................
This is the age of the geek and I like my music taste just as you like yours. It would be incredibly boring if we all liked the same thing
I think the point he is making is that people donated money to this particular unit. If they knew the money was going to be spent on art they might not have donated it. Very fair point. Art does have its place in hospitals and the like but when I donate money I prefer to know exactly what I am donating it for. If I agree with you one more time I am going to combust
