West stand question

What is it that makes it so expensive to sit there? I've had 2 adult and 2 child passes since 2006 and I don't understand where they get the price difference from! It's not as if we have a best stand and the others are inferior! Are we paying for the tunnel entrance thing because the players line up in front of us?

What, I thought you had butlers serving ferrero rocher and the like in there.

 

Never got it myself, problem is i refuse to move from my seat in the West stand as i have a great view, and we have three together and next to us are people we know. We have sat in these seats since we moved to the KC its just something i can't lose. Admittedly we also pay for Premier club tickets we also don't need now, but i do begrudge paying more when the same view can be had in the east stand if i wasn't so loyal.

 

Is it a bit like the clubs in Ibiza charging £15 a beer to keep the 'riff-raff' out?

 

I think it might have come from Boothferry Park, where the West Stand was the most expensive. Although to be fair it was the only seats apart from South upper.
