I don't dislike West Ham, although I always wanted them to fail in the PL because they often seemed to be one of our rivals for relegation. I was content for them to go up with us and I'm happy for Reading to go up with us...the important part of that sentence is 'with us'.
 
Just had thought about who comes up with us. I don't care any more than Fran does, but I bet the Premier League does! If a team comes straight back up, they will get the TV money which the EPL lavishes on its members, but the PL will have saved itself 4 years of parachute payments, which do not need to be paid. It would be a very good gesture if money saved in this fashion was given to the grass roots of football through grants, to employ more coaches, etc.
 
Every time we start to criticise other teams it always seems to come back and bite us, let us forget what the other teams are doing and put all our effort into our own.

I agree the West Ham not606 forum is very quiet. Not because of a shortage of fans (although I know thats not what you were implying) but because most of our fans use dedicated fan sites like WHO and KUMB.

You make a fair point about your variety of topics.

I wouldn't betting that after southampton football club though, we are the most commonly discussed topic on here.
