West Ham style slammed by Blackpool's Alex Baptiste http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/18143836 "We were the better side," the defender told BBC Radio Lancashire. "It was embarrassing at times. They just hoof it long and hope for the best. It's a foul on me for the second goal, so the ref has done us no favours. I suppose everyone got what they wanted. Everyone wanted West Ham to win because they're a team from London." Baptiste continued: "Congratulations to them, they won the game, but I know who I would rather play for. I wouldn't survive in their team because I'm not tall enough. All of them are 8ft tall." Funny comments but very true. To be honest i really didn't want Allardyce to come back into the Premiership. It's mangers like him that have brought decline to the England team with their ****e style of football. Now i have nothing against West ham, as they've historically played good football, but they really need to get rid of that fat fcuk. We don't want his type in the Premiership, it's bad enough we have to endure that baseball hat wearing t1t Pulis....
Blackpool have NO ONE to blame but themselves. His comment about 'everyone wanting West Ham to win' is ridiculous and hints that the referee's and officials were against them but if anyone had watched the game, you would've seen the flurry of simple chances Blackpool missed. Their finishing was terrible all game and they got what was coming to them. Baptiste just sounds like a bitter baby and it's not often I defend West Ham
If he watches the game he will eat his words. Blackpool hoofed it long every 3rd ball. At least West ham had a method of playing, they will struggle next year though.
I wouldn't say anyone within the Championship wanted WHU to win at all, from being within the division and speaking regularly to other Championship fans there was a mutual dislike for their style of football and fat Sam as an individual. But i must admit they shouldn't struggle next season with their finances and QPR style spend spend spend but we'll see. Overall a bitter statement but Baptiste makes some good points, would be embarrassed to play that style of football.
Bitter much. I would much rather have Blackpool in the Prem than West Ham though, with Sam Allardyce's long ball team being yet another who'll bully us and beat us next season.
Every West Ham fan I know hates Allardyce. There is a West Ham fan who sells ribs in the market on Brick Lane at the weekend - the guy made his feelings known to every passer by the day I went there - he detests Allardyce !!!
