(Photo by Ben Hoskins/Getty Images) Wednesday, March 5, 2014 2:37 PM West Ham midfielder Ravel Morrison has talked up the Championship and says he is not expecting an easy ride during his loan spell at QPR. The 21-year-old joined the Râs on loan until the end of the season last month after falling out of favour at Upton Park. Morrison made his home debut in Saturdayâs 1-1 draw with Leeds, and he believes the second tier is actually tougher than the Premier League in some ways. He said: âItâs very different to the Premier League. âI actually think itâs a lot harder in some respects. You get a lot more time on the ball in the Premier League. âIn the Championship you donât get much time on the ball and you have to make decisions very quickly.â Morrison is impressed by his new manager Harry Redknapp and he hopes the former Tottenham boss can help him get his career back on track. âI think itâs pretty obvious that heâs a really good manager,â he added. âFrom what I can tell, he is one that looks after his players. Iâm just hoping he can get the best out of me.â
Perhaps he means that he hopes QPR will use him in a role that will allow him to blossom, not square peg him?
