Adkins said that big decisions usually favour the bigger club..so must be true and set in stone If you think about it, sides that are doing well probably spend longer in the opposition goal area and putt the struggling side under pressure = more penalties.
It's a conspiracy! The most penalties in the Premiership this season have gone to...Wigan and Blackburn.
Yes but we attack from the word go and spend most of the game in the opposition half/box. West Ham just lump it forward.
This.. Tbh we have had 1 less penalty than west ham.. And regardless of the penalties the better have the possession and don't let the other team get a chance on there goal
West Ham top. Doesn't look right to me. We are a better side. Wait till Adkins waves his magic on Monday!
So? Just because we play "better" football doesn't mean we deserve our penalties any more than West Ham.
No but our players are in the opposition boxes far more often than west ham and we have had many a penalty appeal turned down this year.
This is still in our hands if we work on our GD. Too early to start looking for excuses for failure..we haven't failed yet. Here's to a dubious penalty to us on Monday.
Maybe, maybe not. But I haven't got any stats to prove it either way, and I doubt you do either. Tbh, I wouldn't be too surprised if West Ham had it the box more than us - we spend a lot of time passing around the defence or between our midfielders, whereas, like you say, West Ham just smash it forward - and hence into or around the opposition penalty box.
